Aromanou est née en 2020 d'une passion pour les plantes aromatiques des Mascareignes. Ce qui a commencé avec un alambic est devenu une maison entière.
Aromanou was born in 2020 from a passion for the aromatic plants of the Mascarenes. What began with a still became an entire house.
Passionnée par les plantes depuis l'enfance, Mariesolle a fondé Aromanou en 2020 avec une conviction simple : les Mascareignes produisent certaines des plantes aromatiques les plus précieuses au monde, et elles méritent d'être distillées avec respect et transmises avec pédagogie.
Passionate about plants since childhood, Mariesolle founded Aromanou in 2020 with one conviction: the Mascarene islands produce some of the world's most precious aromatic plants, and they deserve to be distilled with care and shared with education.
Aide-soignante diplômée d'État de formation, Mariesolle devient aromatologue certifiée en aromathérapie tropicale (Alstromerine, Étang-Salé, 2020), puis se forme à la valorisation des plantes à parfum, aromatiques et médicinales auprès du Cyroi-APLAMEDOM, à La Réunion. Distillatrice, formulatrice cosmétique en laboratoire, animatrice d'ateliers à l'Île Maurice — elle réunit les deux îles dans une même maison, Aromanou.
A State-certified nursing assistant by training, Mariesolle became a certified aromatologist in tropical aromatherapy (Alstromerine, Étang-Salé, 2020), then trained in the valorisation of perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants with Cyroi-APLAMEDOM in Réunion. Distiller, cosmetics formulator in the lab and workshop facilitator in Mauritius — she unites both islands under one house, Aromanou.

Aromanou naît à La Réunion avec un premier alambic artisanal. Les premières huiles essentielles — géranium rosat, ravintsara, hélichryse — sortent du condenseur et changent tout.
Aromanou is born in Réunion with a first artisan still. The first essential oils — rose geranium, ravintsara, helichrysum — emerge from the condenser and change everything.
Mariesolle obtient sa certification en aromathérapie en milieu tropical (Alstromerine, Étang-Salé). Dans la foulée, elle anime les premiers ateliers : la transmission devient le cœur du projet Aromanou.
Mariesolle earns her certification in tropical-climate aromatherapy (Alstromerine, Étang-Salé). Her first workshops follow, and sharing knowledge becomes the heart of the Aromanou project.
Formation au développement et à la valorisation des plantes à parfum, aromatiques et médicinales (PAPAM) auprès du Cyroi-APLAMEDOM, à La Réunion. La pratique artisanale s'adosse à la rigueur scientifique.

Le 14 février 2026, jour de la Saint-Valentin, la boutique-atelier ouvre ses portes au Domaine de Labourdonnais, à Mapou. Un lieu unique, entre flamboyants et jardins, où découvrir, sentir et apprendre.
